Superstore is always an enjoyable show. The episodes are solid; never laugh out loud funny but always fun. It is a cast of characters I will miss spending time with eventually.

I hope Riverdale starts winding down in season 5 so that it can end on a good note in season 6. I am glad Drew got renewed. It is interesting enough to keep me coming back week to week.
Madelaine Petsch as well. Maybe because Veronica gets crappy story lines, Camila Mendes pales in comparison to them.
Obviously no one was going to take Jasmine’s advise. Like others, I thought it would turn out she was a plant by a bad guy like Hariam or Betty fake FBI brother.
It lacks the appropriate amount of Olivia Hussey
She’s so pretty
I remember watching the review of this game on youtube from angryvideogamenerd. It was hilarious. And the game seemed cruel.
I would have loved to have seen more classic Heather and Valencia mess arounds, but there wasn’t enough episodes.
Her former show Crazy Ex Girlfriend did a solid job of showing female friendships. Rebecca’s friend with Paula I thought was nicely portrayed and is one of my favorite female TV friendships (all the girl squad really).
Agreed. I watched it over the course of 4 days and it stayed true to form--B- to B. If it came back for another season I’d probably watch it.
It’s a cute show. The surrealistic elements were a surprise to me but it’s a show to enjoy over a long weekend. Good—not great. I mostly came from Povisky and Dennings and they don’t disappoint.
Maybe I missed this, but no Starz Spartacus? Re-watching it on Netflix and damn is it good.
Given what is to come, the first episode is so-so but damn does it pick up in episode two.
I wish RIVERDALE would embrace the supernatural at this point, because it does feel like they are just re-packaging old story lines (gang stuff, mob princess Veronica, gothic Blossom nuttiness). Let Cheryl unleash a ghost or demon or something like that. They have laid down enough ground work on the show to jump into…
And a movie!
Good post. Yeah this isn’t really a comedy in a pure form so much as a drama-comedy or a dark comedy. And it certainly was never meant to be an absurdist comedy where logic or consistency don’t exist. Being a comedy doesn’t let it off the hook for having logical story lines and consistent writing in regards to plot…
I mean I really like Atlanta and all that, but can something that is only 3 seasons long be that high on a best of list?
Pretty good list. I would put Mad Men first and get Dear White People somewhere in the 90s or 80s.
Riverdale High has such a random assortment of classes—ROTC, junior FBI 101. I hope this FBI storyline gives us Betty in the FBI spinoff to make up for the Veronica Mars in the FBI teaser we never got.
Is Archie more of a Rorshach or more of a Comedian? ‘’Tonight a comedian died in Riverdale’’
