My job does.

Agreed.
From Tasker in the Play Store: "following actions made unavailable on Android 4.2+ due to changes by Google: Airplane Mode, Airplane Radios, Stay On, Wifi Sleep"
I'm confused—is the Google infographic really neat or just pretty neat? If it's really neat, I'll be sure to take a look, but if it's only pretty neat, then I have better things to do with my time.
"This entire article literally places not just NO value on home, family, community, etc, but NEGATIVE value on those parts of life."

Here's another +1.
I currently have 131 apps on my Nexus 4. At one point before I switched to Android, my iPhone 4 had over 350 installed apps. As long as your phone has sufficient free space left over, I don't see what the problem is with having a few hundred apps.
The ReStore location in Stafford is not far from Sugar Land.

First step? Sell the new car and buy a cheaper used one.
This. Because of TVTropes, I discovered that the tab switcher button in Chrome for Android changes from showing the number of open tabs to a ":)" when you reach triple-digits.
I have absolutely all of my passwords in LastPass, banking included.
Chick-fil-A explicitly states that their Wi-Fi is free to use for as long as you like; they just ask that you not take up an excessive amount of space (e.g., one person in a four-person booth) during the lunch rush.
A couple of thousand bucks? The only power tools needed are a $60 drill, a $40 circular saw, and a $25 sander. Even if we add the cost of a hammer, hacksaw, drill bit, and other miscellany, the total is still well under $200, not $2,000—and all the tools can be used for countless other projects.
"for a good old fashion pig roast a pig"
That sounds unpleasant, but it hasn't been my experience, and I'd hesitate to say that it is symptomatic of a larger problem. Google Voice on my Nexus 4 is fantastic; I've never seen a delay of more than two minutes in an SMS notification, and voicemails (which require transcription) alert me in less than five…
MMS is not essential for all of us. I've been using Google Voice as my primary number for over three years, and I've never missed a group message (at least not that I am aware of). If you need MMS, then Google Voice won't work for you, but it has everything I need.
This is directed toward people who have a lot more than ten tabs open at once. I average between 40 and 60 tabs open at any given time, and it can make Chrome run pretty slowly sometimes.
Google Voice hasn't been killed; it's still alive and well.
