You forgot to mention that Democrats from the Solid South opposed the Civil Rights Act of 1964, and that the shift of black voters to the Democratic party started in 1968 and was largely due to Republican President Nixon's "Southern Strategy" of appealing to racist white Southerners.

This makes me wish there were a way to hide comments from specific users.

One point that a.n.o.n. mostly overlooked is whether you can sell your old phone to pay for the subsidized price of the new one. I sold my iPhone 4 (not 4S) for $300 two weeks before the iPhone 5 was announced, which would have more than paid for the new iPhone (I got a Galaxy Nexus instead).
