I think Vampire Diaries and The Originals were brilliant takes on the vampire genre. I hate to see those shows go, but 7+yrs is a good run and VD specifically was suffering from stagnation and missing some of the key elements that made it so popular.

I find “sports” in the Olympics tough b/c it is difficult to follow the coverage and there is a lopsided nature to many of the games. I think they support their countrymen and enjoy solid performances by other nations. I am sure they would love to win, but America has great athletes but even better resources and facilities.

This is just a very sad story. I think it was great she sought counseling, but do we know if she had the child? Did she continue to seek counseling support? As parents this is why it is so important to teach our children about making choices...because they can have such a lasting effect on our lives.
