That was one dejected looking crowd during the second half of the game. It reached the point that I started hoping they wouldn’t cut to the crowd as I felt like I was watching their spirits just being torn apart and, as a Pats fan, I really don’t want any reasons to feel sympathy towards the Giants.

Yeah, I think owning one of the most valuable sports franchises on earth is the largest part of his power and influence. I think, for as successful as the Patriots have been in the last decade, that the Cowboys really are the signature team of the NFL. He’s also one of the five or six longest-tenured owners in the NFL.

Did I just watch Stephen A Smith telling someone to calm down?

He just got his bell rung a bit. Some smelling salts and gatorade and he should be just fine.

Was wondering when Jed would show up....

I tend to think you’re right, but it seems like the whole state of California is pretty much over the NFL. The college teams seem to still have some energy behind them, but I think a lot of the overall issues of the NFL (and I’m not talking about national anthem protests) has most of the pro fanbase in the entire

I don’t mean to sound flip, because for the fans the whole situation sounds like a tremendous clusterfuck, but won’t the place sell out if the team was better on the field? They would have sold out in Candlestick regardless, but in the new barn there needs to be a compelling reason. If they get better won’t they draw

It’s brutal. I feel the mic is across the room.

I feel bad for him but I mean at least he doesn’t have to listen to Rex Ryan and the rest of the amazingly miserable play-by-play announcing team on ESPN’s broadcast of the Chargers-Broncos game.

“Twerking” may be the general name, but when you’re up against a wall and you go bottoms-up specifically for the Chargers it’s called “Ryan Leafing.”

Yeah, no one in LA cares about the Rams (and lol at the Chargers ever catching on). Raiders was the move, but shadow-commish Jerry Jones liked Kroenke’s stadium/entertainment complex concept better, so instead of LA getting a team it might give half a shit about, it gets two teams it will fully ignore.

The Rams should go back to Cleveland.

“The Oakland Raiders moved to LA and then back to Oakland. No one in Los Angeles seemed to notice.”
