And yet a country that is smack dab in the middle of Africa worshiping an Egyptian Cat God is all fine and dandy? Honestly, this seems like such a stretch. This is 100% a writer taking interesting concepts and adapting them to fit a story, its not appropriation in anyway.

Yeah, Charles is showing his ass here. None of this is cultural appropriation in the slightest.

> It is, in the most literal sense of the phrase, cultural appropriation

Oh and one more thing (deal breaker, because I love the rest of the package as I see it). Can you confirm the lack of headphone jack (which if true, it really should have been in the article)?

Edit: ofc thanks for promptly replying to my question!

It should also be pointed out that people go to the movies to see stars that excite them. Directors are hesitant to fill movies with actors that people aren’t familiar with. Natalie Portman in this film probably pulls in more viewers than... I literally can’t think of any Asian actresses...

“Luke’s traumatic journey inspired him to cut himself off from the Force altogether

The issue wasn’t the films were too dark it was the tonal dissonance it created with the characters. Batman films are supposed to be dark and gritty - at least the good ones. Superman films not so much. Its why Wonder Woman worked, Patty Jenkins understood the character and made a film to match.

Martha.

You know what else is interesting?

Having the guy behind Dexter’s worst seasons and Inhumans behind it didn’t help.

Facts.

I think IF’s biggest failing was a completely unlikable main character.

Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency not in list of Best Shows. Your list is invalid.

Disappointed Marvel’s Agents of Shield didn’t make the cut with its amazing previous season.
