In the not so near future....
I just got the 2.2 update for my Droid a couple of days ago. So far it seems to run a lot faster now then it did with the previous versions.
They originally were going to use brainwaves, but then they realized that wouldn't work on people still using iPhones or people still using the crappy AT&T network.
The app costs $2.99. I'm not paying for a sex position of the day app.
The only person I typically text, while driving is my wife, since I drop her off and pick her up from work. I programed 4 quick responses into my Droid phone to do this task. I hit an icon that brings up my text message program with her conversation. Then I can hold my finger down for a couple seconds to bring up…
@dapper_otter: Touching and tearing them is a tough job, but somebody has to do it! (Unless they buy this thing, of course)
I solved this problem years ago by buying the paper towels that let you choose the size you want.
I get about 5-6 hours of battery life out of my Droid (If it's just Idle). I actually keep it on the dock charging while I'm at home. Then I use the car charger on the go, when it starts to die. I can get maybe 2 hours worth of google maps out of it, without charging.
@Sent from my toilet: They really need to make an updated version of this for the PC. I love that game (when it doesn't involve me being an evil corporation and the lemmings aren't actually real).
I just downloaded it, and it appears that the difference between the free and pro is which themes are available. The one I wanted wasn't available for free, so I uninstalled it. I'd consider buying it if I actually had money, but I totally don't.
@Slinkytech: I'd say the same rules apply that apply to any software. Once you've digitalized it, you probably wouldn't be allowed to give anybody the ebook unless you also gave them the real book. Just like how you're allowed to back-up your software, but are still only legally allowed to have 1 copy installed at…
I just hope the server they are backing that up to is very secure. Wouldn't that be something a terrorist organization could use to their advantage....somehow? Or maybe I'm just paranoid, who knows.
@Cupajo: I've never been able to find Swype on the market place....
I love my Droid <3
Looks like a pretty nice set. Shame I don't own an High Definition TV, or a blu-ray player. Ah well, one of these days.
This reminds me of Shawshank Redemption, only reversed. Instead of going to prison for killing his wife, even though he didn't do it, then later finding out the person who did, and evidence to prove it....he got off for murder until they finally found the evidence to incriminate him. I hope the guys in prison like…
We still have a blockbuster near us. They went from 90% renting movies and 10% selling movies to about 25% renting and 75% selling. They keep movies for 3 months or so as rentals, then they sell them for a cheaper price to try and get rid of them. We go there every other week or so and rent 4-6 movies for a nice…
I can't tell you how many times I die on stage 8.2 and 8.3. I hate those levels. He made them look way too easy!
@FriedPeeps: Just accept his invite and then never play. You can be in his mafia and not actually play the game. You can even click the thing to ignore anything posted about the game, then he's happy and you still don't have to play the game. The same works for pretty much any other facebook game.
Was it just me, or did all those tables look very lame? I've seen way better pinball machines on pinMAME.
