So what exactly is underpowered about this setup?

OK, so maybe that's what I'm getting stuck on: the fact that even bartering is subject to tax, but there's really no way of enforcing it.
Furthermore
Hmm. OK, so while bartering is taxable, do people actually end up paying taxes on it? Is it like the online purchase thing, where there's a line on the tax forms that you're supposed to add the taxes for all online purchases made that were not taxed?
That's fine, for USD, but Bitcoin is not taxable on its own. If I buy something for 1 Bitcoin, why can/should I be taxed in USD? And furthermore, that tax amount could be vastly different day to day.
OK, I kind of follow this, but I still can't see how it can be taxed. Would the recipient of the Bitcoin (i.e., the hugger, in our example) be taxed, and how? Who's going around saying, "you owe x% of that purchase to us?"
Because last year they had a running back who ran over everything and a quarterback who was somewhat decent with a passable WR crew?
I don't understand the taxing part.
You could keep them separate, and each would take its own time to "mine" it. Or you could join one of those pools, and you'd basically have 6 entries in the pool, and so get 6 shares of the reward when it completes.
Not to mention his visor would be worse for wear.
Fucking fantastic.
Bingo.
I don't think it'd be a lie, more of a "your mom was lost, presumed dead in a big viking vs dragon battle, and the armor was all that remained." And then it turns out she ends up befriending and saving a dragons.
Also a great place for open chests, nuts.
Yeah, but do you have that dick swing down?
Wow. I'd always assumed you could just back out the "region selection" it makes you pick when you first start an account. That's kinda crap that they do that.
*sniff* reminds me of the old deltree fun we had back in high school.
I was answering the OP's question of "how can anyone criticize people for making money blah blah blah" by saying that they're just upset/jealous that they didn't think of the idea first, and are taking it out by saying "well its not a real job anyways, so they deserve it."
I'm not sure if I agree with you, but I like your wording in your points, so you get my vote.
Because they didn't think to do it themselves first, that's all.
