My home version of turning white cheddar into Mild Mexican is pretty much ~1 tsp each of ground cumin, ground chipotle, and garlic powder.
Mild Mexican? That was my favorite!

Do “Williams Sonoma smell:” fill a small saucepan with water and add 1 tbs vanilla extract, a few sprigs of Rosemary, and a sliced lemon. Simmer indefinitely (you may need to add more water every few hours) to create a lovely cover smell.

I was convinced I was allergic to lavender oil. Everything with it leaves my skin super itchy. I'm glad to see other people qualifying it as an irritant, perhaps I'm not so odd (in this one instance), after all.
I was a big fan of aquaphor, but do find it a little *too* tacky/greasy. I now use hydrolatum when I need to bring out the "big guns." It's mostly white petrolatum, like aquaphor, but blended with water so it's a little lighter and more readily absorbed.
I used to suffer what I called "combination skin from hell." My face was dry and flaky, yet at the same time congested and riddled with angry red bumps.

Basil is sweet and bright and a little lemony, it'd taste great, but I humbly propose thyme would better fit the "character" of Rosemary in the original recipe. It has some lemony notes, too, but also just a tiny bit of dry, herbal muskiness.
I said it to my husband right after the episode finished. It's our new code word.
