Ugh, that sucks. As a professor, I agree with the others that you should let someone in authority know what happened. That professor needs to be firmly told, at a minimum, that he/she can’t do that again. Or possibly face some other kind of repercussion.

On a less happy note -- anyone in the Santa Ana/Costa Mesa area have a vet they could recommend? I was really not happy with the one I saw today.

We have a new puppy! I only had to do an 8 hour round trip in the car with my kids and my wee dog to pick her up. And we really didn’t know for sure that she’d be there (the SPCAs in this area are notoriously bad at updating their sites). But we got there before opening and we fell in love and took her home.
