Frankly I love that he’s talking shit about SE, even if it’s all just stuff people had already figured out from the outside.

Having worked with SE in the past (I was part of a smaller company they owned), I can say it is the most soulless, rapacious, clueless bunch of morons I have ever worked with in an industry that has no shortage of those.
I know its a low hanging fruit to assume a lot of these streamers aren’t very smart but a “deformation of character” suit? :)
They can’t. Their entire identity is being an exhaustive twat on the internet.
Take a day off.
It’s directionless punching. Like you said, it’s a drunk windmilling in a bar. “Satire requires clarity of purpose...” Etc etc.
You’re acting like the government and trans people are equally affected by jokes portraying them as . Yes, they punch everyone, but most of the people they’re punching are their own size and one definitely isn’t. And you know what? Rockstar isn’t even counter culture anymore. GTA V is literally the second best selling…
I would have been fine with a policy of "no political ads at all," but there is far too much money to be made from those ads.
“and that’s just antithetical to comedy”
Personally I hope “more culturally sensitive” translates to “We didn’t exclusively populate the game world with first draft sex/scatological gags.” One of the world’s largest and most successful media franchises, and you can’t go ten seconds without encountering a “joke” that even a teenage boy would find pretty tired…
I look forward to well thought out and measured responses from the GTA community
This news will be received well, the reaction will be moderate, and sensible discourse will take place.
If you need me I’m gonna be over on the Reddits all day laughing at a bunch of dipshits losing their minds.
That sound came from MESSIAH?
This seems like an overreaction.
You sound unhinged lmao. This was meant to be a timed exclusive only.
What you’re both describing and contributing to is normalisation.
If there is one thing I’ve learned from online discourse it’s never ask FromSoftware to do anything, because it would stifle their creative artistic vision, and that would be bad.
I’ll never know how anyone can trust Facebook enough to buy hardware from them.
Well she sounds pretty full of herself.
