So many simple reasons I don’t use Apple products. I’d have to fully commit to them—Macs, iPhones, iPads, all of it.

I’m a huge fan of Supergiant’s work to date. Definitely excited to try Pyre, even though it looks a bit different from their previous stuff. They’re the kind of studio whose work speaks for itself and makes me want to support them.

Apologies if there’s an obvious answer to this, but if the public beta build is “pretty old”, why are we testing it?

This game’t art direction is utterly sublime and I wish I had a PS4 to play it on.

One of these things does not belong. Is nobody else going to comment on Trumpty Dumpty up there?

Thanks Brian! I’m one small step closer to having seen everything.

It wouldn’t be quite as much of a problem if they did it so he could just go it alone. But throwing in those two generic randos instead is pretty insulting to long-time fans of the anime. What’s the point of revisiting that saga at all if you don’t value its principle characters?

I feel a lot of people missed on FFXII because they felt the combat systems were too great a departure. But you’ve always been able to turn off the targeting lines and ignore the gambit system completely, and play the game pretty much like a classic ATB Final Fantasy game. The mistake I made with it was trying to

Are you fucking kidding?

This is nothing new though... Nintendo’s been hiding secret stuff like this since at least Link’s Awakening. Honestly I feel like they’d be doing themselves more of a service if they followed through with their ideas and created something truly original, instead of coming up with 90% of a great new concept then just

I’m not as wary of Creation Club as I was of paid mods on Steam. If they use it as a quality control vector, keep the number of signed mods relatively small and manage the pricing and content appropriately, perhaps even providing support for resources like voice acting, it can be a worthwhile pursuit.

The name “Xbox One” is becoming ironic again.

Having read Jason’s Andromeda article, I can’t help but feel as if that game suffered so that this one could thrive. If that’s the case, it hurts more because a clone of a vapid lood-grinding game is the last thing I wanted to see from Bioware.

Destiny-type MMO-hybrid lootathon is not what I was hoping for from Anthem. And more open worlds? Sigh. On the other hand, more Ori has me very excited (and a bit tearful thinking about the last one).

They said “Teraflop”, time to drink. And why are there people chanting “Yeah!” in the background?

Well, glad i skipped the EA conference.

Microsoft made that so, so easy for Sony.

So is Sims 4 better value than Sims 3 yet? I really didn’t see the point of it at launch because it was basically a crappier version of essentially the same game.

I’m not gay and I don’t often RP gay characters, but I would completely have gone for Jaal had he been available on my first playthrough. Rolled a lady Ryder afterwards for that purpose and was not disappointed.

Real talk to Sony now: if I could play on PS4 my library of PSone classics that I bought for PS3, they will have sold me a console. PS4's library and exclusives are enticing, but that’s not enough to justify a generation leap when, as a PC user, I already have access to free online use, a lifetime supply of
