It's the fact that those future updates are likely to cost them more money, and that these things were eminently available in all three base Sims games before it, that will upset those angry fans. Rightly so, as will be confirmed when EA charges for them.

Nice move EA. Let's see how many people you sucker into buying the $40 Pool DLC. While I think this is monumentally stupid, especially since they've admitted they'll probably add the functionality at a later date, we can hardly be surprised that The Sims means nothing to EA other than a big fat cash cow.

I agree with all of this, except the part where KOTOR 2 is a better game. It's a better story, setting and cast of characters, but even last year when I played it it was still riddled with game-breaking bugs, which on three occasions forced me to wind back long sections of play and look up the "correct" way to do them…
