I really like this show. Very off the wall, and very funny and unpredictable. I don't see it coming back for a fourth season, between the very tidy finale here and the unspectacular ratings. It deserves a lot more attention than it seems to get, though. Kudos!

I disagree. Of course the books are a richer story, but "better" is a subjective term. Some people need visuals, and some people prefer to read. I really like both the books and the show. The reason that direction was abandoned is that the aging of some characters, like Ayra, Sansa, and Myrcella was needed and made sense, but the aging of other characters like Jamie, Cersei, Stannis, and Littlefinger did not.
