There are definitely terrible people. But there are a lot more people just there to have a good time, and I have actually made some wonderful friends in OW. Play awhile, find some people who aren’t jerks, start a Discord channel and try to find time to play together. It makes any multi-player game better.

More often than not it’s ok. There are definitely toxic people, but no worse than most other PvP games I’ve played. A number of gamers are just shit people. this is barely an issue now with forced 2-2-2 team composition. there is so little toxicity now, its quite nice. every (mostly) gets to play what they want.
