Well, i think that a bad script can turn into a "good movie" if it's an action movie, and the director is masterful at the craft. An action movie is not meant to tell a story, but to convey a sense of thrill, anticipation, excitement and fear on the watcher. Many of the "good action movies" have terrible scripts, but…

I think it's nitpicking. It's not the Mafia, but we often call "mafia" to organizations with similar structure and goals, like the druglords in America. Iirc the correct term for the Calabrese mafia is "Camorra".
