It is. There's only so many people one can treat as actual human beings, our brain cannot conceive large amounts of people. So, beyond the people you know and talk to, and get to "really know" about (or think you do), people whose feelings you are aware of... the rest of the world we need to assign to boxes.

One thing is to say that the process of formation of gender identity is not well known, yet. But claiming that biological sex has nothing to do necesarily with it is a wild claim. The fact that most male-assigned at birth identify as men and most female-assigned at birth identify as women is telling that there's a

Actually that's a capital idea. People should only be allowed to drive on public roads 10 years after obtaining the licence. There's just way too many 20-somethings thinking that the public roads are their own closed circuits.

I'm not sure he was seeking to disempower her... rather to empower her through reverse psychology?

That's cool! :)

My point is that there are many ways to make a part of the body non functional without being considered illnesses.

A person who has broken a leg isn't "ill", per se. That's why i was trying to be careful not to say "mentally ill" in any instance.

If that's an actual rule in English, it's a stupid rule. Quotation marks are either lower priority or higher priority than punctuation. If you require that the punctuation goes inside the quotation marks, you need to require that the whole sentence, from the last previous punctuation, goes within the quotation marks.

I'm not sure i agree with this. If it was true, then in countries with a higher consciousness about equality between genders, anti-trans crime should be lower. From what i've seen online, it's about the same, even in the nordic countries.

Seriously guys, the simple fact that there's spelling contests should tell you all that is wrong with your language.

Yes, we have an advantage when it comes to spelling... but a disadvantage when it comes to pronounce properly :D

I don't think radicalization is something that only happens to those who are already mentally ill. I think it's a process that, by detaching you from reality, makes your mental health diminish. I don't want to use the word "mentally ill" for them, because that's pretty well defined. But after you manage to remove a

I'm not saying they aren't responsible... but those thoughts... it just isn't normal :(

I felt sadness... and i felt rage, yes. But rage at myself. Because i felt i wasn't good enough, that there was something wrong with me. That i was damaged goods.

Nice job there. So we're all men complicits, right? Both bullies and bullied, on an equalized field of play. So fair, so equidistant!

Seeing how they think, when they are baring their thoughts in what they think a private environment... can you really call that way of thinking "healthy"?

Well, what else is a guy supposed to say after reading this?

Without an UZI or an RPG on my hand, i'd do the same as you.

Not just like property. Property is valuable, and you wouldn't just go and destroy it. I think it's more like they think wives/daughters are not people on their own, that they have no thoughts, no feelings and no agency that are not originated by/directed at them.

It certainly didn't help the Indians against the British, nor the Black people in the US.
