Imagine, a comedian who is putting out some seriously good barbs while making a joke about how we have been stress eating since the nightmare in the White House showed up failing to rally everyone in the exact way somebody who isn’t her thinks she should. She obviously must be severely criticized.

Maybe you are missing my point. There seems to be unreachable and ever changing criteria on what is acceptable rather than an understanding that most people are trying. Sometimes we make mistakes, or fail to do the absolute best we can, and sometimes we say stuff we wish we could chew back into our mouths.
