I've looked at renting this film a few times now my interest has been piqued anew, might just give it a chance.

Might want to see it for the scenery if nothing else, beautiful part of the world been there, would go again.

Can't stand Noah never liked him from the very beginning and can't say he's grown on me. He's a self-centered,obnoxious prick. I sense another affair coming with his publicist they're a little too chummy chummy.

I watched it with my husband, we both knew this was coming.

Haven't read the books but apparently rapes do feature prominently in them thus there was no way this scene could be avoided in the retooling of the stories for the screen. The rape will have repercussions on Jamie's psyche/spirit and his relationship with Claire.
