Sounds much more chill than some of my D&D experiences where this down time between battles is spent arguing who searched which body first and grabbed what item.
I was gonna say the same thing. The average 20 page DC book is $3.
That’s why (well, one of the reasons) D&D is so great. It provides a loosely structured framework for stories and personal interaction that engages people in ways that seem forced in other games/hobbies. It’s up to the DM, and players to a lesser extent, how rigid or light the experience becomes but I’ve had fun in…
