I’d go. Kona is on the other side of the island. The biggest worry might be getting stuck for a few extra days if there’s lots of ash in the air and they shut the airport down.
So. My parents and my aunt/uncle are supposed to be visiting Hawaii in about a month from now. They’re to be staying in Kona. My mom is very freaked and doesn’t want to go. My dad, aunt and uncle are much more receptive to going. Internet, weigh in. Do they go, or do they not?
I want to be excited over how cool volcanoes are and how cool an eruption would be, but I am very much on the side of hoping this doesn’t happen so people won’t get hurt.
