In Russia, crankshafts align you!
So GMC built an off-road version of the trailblazer that doesn’t have one? Also, people are moaning about the lack of “off-roadiness” with this package but it looks to be as much, if not more, a match for the Honda Passport which they have made a huge deal about its ability off-road. Similar transmission, similar…
You should not be in a position where you need to change to/from P, R, or D and have to have your eyes on the road. Quit yer whinin.
but I’ve got to try out that gear selector before making a judgement. Because it looks wacky.
They make bare bones trucks, They have AC and radio because it would cost more to decontent them and they sell trucks south of I70. They start between $25k-$30k because they’re not subcompact cars and this isn’t 2000 anymore.
I think I would puma pants.
Because horsepower is really a measure of torque. The V8 makes more torque per revolution than the 2.7. As a result, the 2.7 must do more work to make up the difference. Unfortunately, internal combustion engines aren’t efficient, and most of the work ends up wasted in heat and exhaust.
I simultaneously love and hate that brush guard. There’s just something uncanny valley about it.
Should have had the box release a cloud of 3M 77 Spray Adhesive just before releasing the glitter.

Here’s the Toyota Supra Face before you’re supposed to see it.
“I would totally buy that if it was in the US and under $30K” that lurk around these parts, this is your moment!

My favorite of the cars I’ve owned was my ‘79 GMC pickup. It looked something like this.
If you wanted to haul a bike and a cord of firewood, and don’t care about off-road chops, this would be at the bottom of the pickup list. Just get a full-size truck (I’m partial to Ram) for $10k off MSRP and call it a day.
UGH that unibrow is SO UGLY! Why do so many lemmings still buy them. It’s like the wrangler is the pretend-to-be-a-car-guy vehicle, so people have to just tack crap onto them. Lots of non-functional jeep modding.
Well written.
