Considering it’s been eight years since the bailouts, it’s fair to say there have been a lot of major shifts in automotive trends and the economy. GM has done well to avoid collapse again, but they’re being smart in trying to minimize the pain now instead of having it just be worse later if things don’t go better than

I’m not sure they could get away with that, but I heard they did hire Irwin Mainway to handle merchandise production so who knows.

My friends are all PC gamers and I play 76 with them. And multiplayer on a console? You must be mad.

I went ahead and installed the Windows trial software after seeing that a version of my gaming headphones (Corsair Void Pro, mine are the RGB wireless variant) was supported. I expected it to sound different, but I didn’t expect it to sound this good.

Easy enough to verify, just get a good feel for what things sound like before you install the software.

Have you played Fallout 76? If you have, check out the quest line that starts in Riverside Manor near Charleston and takes you to the Top of the World, or follow along with the Overseer’s trek home to find out what happened to her loved ones.

Sure, and I think most of the “controversies” are overhyped. I’ve read and watched probably dozens of reviews, but I’m still enjoying the game quite a bit. I’ll enjoy it a lot better once the bugs are addressed, of course.

I wouldn’t.

Honestly, I haven’t had any performance issues with Fallout 76 that haven’t been primarily related to server stability or network issues. I’ve got a pretty beefy PC with a GTX 1070 and a Ryzen 7 2700X, and I’m sure that helps.

Because some of us, despite Bethesda’s history of bugs, have sunk thousands and thousands of hours into games since Morrowind or even earlier. We know that if we break down hours of fun versus dollars spent, $60 divided by 300 sure comes off as an incredible bargain for the cost of fun.

As much as I’ll defend the game against its critics (mainly the myopic ones that can’t comprehend someone disagreeing with them) if for no other reason than to throw a little static into the echo chamber, there’s no denying that Bethesda has had a really, really bad time with launch on 76. I haven’t run into any huge

I swear, I met someone offline a couple months ago and the guy started to sound like a gamergater. I wish I were joking when I say I almost wanted to put my pimp hand to use. Gamergaters have typically been some of the *worst* damn people I’ve ever interacted with online. Even the thought of seeing them in my life

Yes, they’re getting their bread buttered by a company that barred them from any press events or contacts.

The gaming community has been seriously off base with a lot of things that have been said about Fallout 76 though. From day one, people were making these wild ass assumptions about how everything would work. PvP, quests, camps, all these aspects and more were being described by people who hadn’t seen anything except

There’s *one* thing that would seriously help Fallout 76's UI. Some goddamn *color* to indicate statuses on items. That’s it. Some color text. If they want to stick to the whole “vintage display” aesthetic, they can do something like CGA or EGA color palettes.

If someone doesn’t want to read a review and wants to be told what they think, I think the Internet has gone ahead and told everyone that about Fallout 76 already. The hatred I’ve seen toward this game by people who never played it is crazy.

Sorry, your whole “subjective truth” nonsense is crap. That humor is still there. You might not see it or like it, but others of us see it just fine.

Review scores are useless unless there’s a set of objective criteria being measured. Games, as media, simply can’t be judged that way. You can’t judge graphics or story design that way. You can’t even judge the bugs that way, because they might be less of a problem for some people than others.

So, here’s a serious question for you. Why would you say that 76 needs to stop existing, while other people might actually enjoy it?

It’s better to have a review like this that tells you what to think *about* instead of what to think.
