I dunno, it sounds like the kind of thing that would just be so incredibly amazing to watch. Like an Odd Couple kind of thing, except Martha’s got a reputation for being surprisingly cool about things, at least post-prison.

Fake bullet holes

Mine was a Rent-a-Wreck (late 90s?) Ford Taurus that I had for a week visiting family in Maine several years ago. And by several, I mean 5. Yes, a 10+ year old car. It wasn’t awful! But the real sketchy part was the fact I simply couldn’t trust it to be safe to drive across the Canadian border on a poutine run. Why? I

I’ve been thinking about one of these for a few months now, and this just pushed me over the edge. Dammit. You guys are dangerous with this advertising/sales stuff sometimes.

A quick note on the Klipsch Promedia 2.1's. They have sadly started to be phased out, as Best Buy’s more than a decade long run of selling them has finally ended and wound up with them replaced by a newer model for $199 that includes Bluetooth. I discovered this after my pair finally gave up the ghost after an attempt

This has been the worst three months of my life, honestly. I came close to suicide about three months ago after long term harassment and (I fucking hate to admit this as a 42 year old man) what was really some pretty serious bullying, that combined with a weekend dealing with an actual goddamn sociopath that pushed me

Logitech’s new hardware appears to have that, too. My G900 mouse’s “G” icon flashes red and blue, which surprised the hell out of me, too.

It wouldn’t take much to convince me that he never really wanted the job, that he was indeed doing it for fame as everyone thought when he threw his hat in the ring. The pictures I saw of his trip to the White House actually looked like he was fucking terrified.

No. Because my parents didn’t even know who the deplorables were supposed to be. They had no idea who she was talking about when she said that, so they bought the story that she meant *them*.

That’s great, but what we need most are thought leaders outside the beltway that can communicate with the people we’ve lost. We need someone that can get out there and fight. Van Jones is probably the best we have right now, but he’s not enough. We need more.

T-Mobile actually had a promotion at one point where they advertised you could get one of these as a “perk” for free with a security deposit as long as you stayed a subscriber. When they ran our credit info, it was good enough that they waived the deposit entirely, and the router has been amazing. Before this, even a

Our current leaders on the left don’t have it. Bernie might have had a good message, but “socialist” was a bridge too far for them and his follow through was weak. He tried the “Repeat it until it sticks” method, and it started to sound like condescension because he didn’t have enough new red meat to throw out there

And that’s why she shouldn’t have walked it back, at all. She’d have drawn attention to it, put eyeballs on Trump’s true base.

Unfortunately, I’m not at all hopeful. I just think that’s what our side needs to do. Be unrelenting, be forceful, be understanding at the same time, but never yield an inch to these people. I just don’t think we have leaders that can do it.

But she screwed up doing it. First, she said half. Then she apologized. She should never have apologized! She should have used Trump’s lesson in media control against him, dominate the news cycle for days saying that she refused to walk back her statement until his campaign repudiated every single hate and nativist

The racists need to be called racists. The ones who aren’t, need to be shown that there are racists in their midst. The problem is that our side did an absolutely terrible job of pointing out the difference and so they were able to spin it. Our side shouldn’t have let that happen.

Yeah, sorry about that. I know it was a lot. Usually I’m the guy that finds the middle ground, and finds reasons to be hopeful. It hasn’t worked out that way this time, not yet. Not until I feel like our side has an actual goddamned plan, and some actual goddamned leaders so we can put up a meaningful fight in two

My parents didn’t have a clue about what this really meant, and they voted for him. They’d never heard of the alt-right, or Brietbart, or that the KKK endorsed him, or that Mike Pence’s stance on LGBTQ rights is absolutely terrifying. And when I called them to say my boyfriend and I were both scared as hell, and I got

She hoped, as did the rest of us, that the other 50% (really, 85%) of his supporters would hear her words, look at the people she *was* talking about and realize. “Oh, fuck. I can’t be with the Klan.”

When people say “Hillary called his supporters deplorables” they completely miss the entire point of what she said. She called certain *parts* of his base deplorables, specifically the racists, sexists, and people who choose based on hatred. And considering that he had the support of the KKK, she wasn’t wrong. Her
