You're complaints aren't wrong. It's the fact that you're using restaurant owners being cheap assholes to justify being a cheap asshole yourself.

Being a shitty tipper is a great indicator of character.

Our country does need better employment laws. But until then, if you're taking advantage of that low wage (and along with it, lower food prices) and not tipping, you're actively aiding the exploitation of workers who are already treated like shit.

In my experience, the people that complain about the expectation to always tip are usually cheap assholes. I'm sure I'm not alone in my experience.

I'm sure with your glowing personality, there's no chance that you got poor service because you and your friends were being shitty to the staff.

Not even a little bit. Which is good, because I'm insufferable enough as a sports fan as it is.

Aww, you're trying so hard. Keep at it!

Most saves in one match in World Cup history is now Tim Howard. What a game he had. Too bad.

Well, that went about as badly as it could have as a fan.

Called it.

Yep. Too bad Wondo gave them enough time.

The wind was out of the sails after that miss. I bet they give up another.

More frustrated: US fans watching their team get utterly manhandled, or Belgian fans knowing they're one lucky bounce away from losing to a squad they've utterly manhandled?

So I'm usually way in over my head trying to talk soccer on here, but it seems like the few times the US has actually had a decent opportunity in or near the goal they either turn it over, softshoe it and get it taken away, or just whiff entirely. Am I seeing it all wrong?

Jesus, they're just so much better.

Not as endearing as winning more.

That literally makes no sense. Offensive and shitty language gets in the dictionary, just with a "usually considered offensive" addendum.

That was a whole lot of ignorant.

Do you fly a confederate flag? Then it's not about you. But thanks for leading the #notallwhitepeople brigade. Don't you have an article about babies dying in hot cars to rant on somewhere?

Dictionaries are only rules for language if you're playing Scrabble. Otherwise they're reflections of how language is used. So dictionaries are, by definition, constantly obsolete.
