I would star this except you made me think of Scott Cousins and Johnny Bench. Damn you.

Yes, without a doubt.

I realize a lot of guys cut significant-to-extreme weight to fight below their natural size and I’m not saying that is, per se, unfair. But I am saying it is silly to pretend Conor McGregor was at a disadvantage fighting at his natural weight.

“If they can’t hold the line on the most high profile example of why their new rule was necessary, can they ever enforce it?”

Brilliant rebuttal except nobody in this article or on this comment thread is saying he’s a bad fighter.

Conor McGregor at UFC 196 weigh-ins:

Hold on a second, do you think this was McGregor’s first loss ever?

Right, but that’s my point—the UFC still can and will push that angle at 145 for Conor McGregor b/c of the context surrounding this loss and no title changing hands.

But what did McGregor really lose?

On what planet is this bad for the UFC?!

Lighten up, Francis.

“Melo had another chance to win it for the Knicks. His game-winner fell just short.”

“We’ve reached the agree to disagree point.”

Gotcha. That said...

A. Saying “young people don’t vote in big enough numbers” could be true. It wasn’t in the last general election, but it has been historically true. Regardless, dismissing the candidate they overwhelming support to the point of actively rigging the system against him ensures it will be true.

I wonder if the rest of Jenrry Mejia’s life is also ripped from a James Bond movie.

“You don’t think that Sanders description as a socialist is a problem? Okay then. This is the type of thinking from Sanders camp that makes me scratch my head.”

“I’m not sure there are large swaths of Americans who are anxious for the chance to vote for a self-described socialist. The history of the Socialist party in American isn’t exactly filled with large scale success.”

Watching this presidential election cycle is driving me insane.

Bucks—the last game of a 7-game road trip and the 2nd game of a back-to-back where the previous game went into double OT vs. a good Celtics team...this is probably a bad game to look too closely at
