I’m gray here, I’m not gray there, eventually I’ll get banned again for pointing out a Deadspin writer sucks.

Sure it does.

Man, you’re either really dense or you haven’t read a serious criticism of that piece. I guess you could also be a bigot, but you don’t really give off that vibe.

The problem was not that the author was anti-LGBTQ+whatever.

I don’t believe that’s what I said.

Yeah, yeah you can:

Yes, let’s celebrate:

I love all these sheep who believe Simmons is some sort of anti-establishment, journalistic hero b/c he got forced out by ESPN.

Give me one example where I said or implied it is ok for the adult to engage in the sexual encounter.

Yes.

Agreed 100 percent.

No.

You seem very, very angry.

My real purpose is as stated.

Y’all are really dead set as seeing this as some sort of pro-Bowie argument, which is odd b/c my comment deals explicitly and exclusively with the girl-turned-woman at issue.

I’m not arguing the legality of it. As the article states, not every crime is immoral and not every immoral act is a crime.

Right, and I’m explicitly saying the vast majority of kids are wrong, which is why statutory rape laws exist, should exist and should be prosecuted vigorously.

Now playing

“...based off of one completely harmless quote...”

But what if, years later, you still saw the behavior as flattering and ultimately harmless?

There is some tragic irony in the author of “Why Do So Many People Think They Know the Best Way for a Woman to Live?” and “The Right to a Sexual Narrative: On the Lena Dunham Abuse Claims” redefining another woman’s sexual narrative to criticize the way that woman leads her life.
