ESPN has Darren Rovell, Skip Bayless and Stephen Smith.

Fair enough, although I actually think baseball is the ultimate team sport b/c the individual fails so frequently. You need to be a cohesive unit, otherwise the psychology of the sport destroys you.

I absolutely hate it when some douche bag, marginal personality says something patently stupid to get attention and all the other media outlets (not to mention Twitter users, but y’know, Twitter) flock to it.

More fair points, but I’m just saying it wouldn’t be the first time a guy looked like he was the only piece worth keeping when, in fact, he is the main problem.

Fair points all around and sounds like they’re coming from someone much more knowledgeable about him/the Kings than I.

At some point, the sports world has to realize that, just because winners often put up fantastic stats, not every athlete who puts up fantastic stats is a winner.

People who still listen (watch?) talk radio make me sad.

So one play that ignites a fastbreak throws all the other analytical data into question?

Fantastic post except the bit at the end.

So this means I can renounce ALL of Deadspin when Howard or Draper or one of the shittier writer forces me to read his drivel, right?

I love this hipster-revisionist bullshit that Return of the Jedi was “ruined” because it had furry animals in it to “pander” to kids/toys.

No, no. Let me pour over 7 pages (odd how my scanning and your careful studying resulted in me knowing the correct number of pages and you not) of study summaries in minute detail just so I can satisfy Left Coast Guy on an Internet comment thread.

Terrific.

Yeah, fuck that.

“I can’t take you seriously on a topic you don’t read about at all....”

Always solid to acknowledge you didn’t read even half of something before critiquing all of it.

Damn. What has happened to Dan Patrick?

So your defense of a move that everyone who’s ever played basketball knows not to do is that he was still fired up from a play that happened at the end of the first half? As in, he was still too fired up after the half-time break and an entire second half to control himself? In a game Kansas won by almost 20?

OK man, and if you’re dead set on it, you can find reasons to believe cigarettes don’t correlate to lung cancer, human behavior doesn’t correlate to global warning and the Patriots deflated footballs, too.
