RIP
RIP
I'm stoked. The expectations are sky high with this one.
I wonder what supernatural powers Jack Buck possessed.
All the performances were solid in that movie.
I feel the MVP was Djimon Hounsou as the mercenary, who becomes sympathetic to the clones, because he was once a slave.
It's actually pretty moving.
I remember enjoying the Michael Clarke Duncan sublplot. Good God, that was one of the most emotional things ever in a Michael Bay movie.
That has always stuck with me.
Great to see "Red Eye" get some love around here. A fun, little underrated thriller.
It's better to burn out, than to fade away.
Highlander related: Did anyone around here ever see "Gunmen"? It was released the same year as "Highlander: The Final Dimension", and it also starred Christopher Lambert and Mario Van Peebles?
For 2004, I penciled in "Collateral" with "The Bourne Supremacy" as the spoiler.
2006, I had "Casino Royale" as the lock with MI:3" as the upset.
But, no, fucking "300". It had to be "300", which I knew was going to be 2007's choice. But 2006?..I think it's release was delayed to 2007. I don't think it counts as a 2006…
I know it was supppsed to be released in late-2006, but Warner Bros. pushed it to the spring of 2007.
I really fucking hate "300".
I second this potential amendment.
I gave "Constantine" a rewatch some time ago and I appreciate it a lot more now.
Words cannot describe how pissed off I am that "Casino Royale" is being overlooked for 2006. Must you torture us Bond Fans?
Francesca was always hit-or-miss with me, but one of my favorite hits was when he tore into that awful, fucking short-lived "Joe Buck Live" on HBO.
Black Mask, Hush, The Riddler are a few I'd like to see.
I'm thinking Dances with Dudley.
I've mentioned it before around these parts, that if Edge is Cena's greatest rival, then A.J is definitely a close second.
Plenty of land available.
I thought so as well. One ad used "Busy Child" by The Crystal Method, which has been in my head since I saw the film version of "Lost in Space" in theaters. It plays during the end credits.
