Keep the damn pie.
Keep the damn pie.
I love it.
But, but, but…what about the talking pie? And how does he fit into this?
It won't. That was an incentive in taking the job.
"Oh, hey look it's Jonah Hill to talk about Bantha balls and Ewok taints."
You see there's improv and then there's that Will Ferell-improv, of him standing around with his costars for five minutes talking about snakes, fire and pop culture. Stuff that doesn't advance the plot, just an excuse for then to stand around for five minutes and pad out the run time.
"Antz" has some sharp gags, a funny Woody Allen and Sylvester Stallone performance, but I don't like it as much as I used to.
I like Ron Howard and I think he can do a good job with this, even if I don't think he will have full creative control.
It just seems like he's lost a step since "A Beautiful Mind". I did love "Cinderella Man" .
Oh, lord..it was "Bundy Again!!"
"Hey Vern! Help me get this woman's face off of my head".
Eating a hot dog with a penis nose. Got it.
Well now, who doesn't.
That would be something. Imagine a montage of him making skin lampshades, while "Walking on Sunshine" plays.
Now that you mention it, I understand now.
"Nothing But Trouble" had jokes?
Yeah…it's almost as if the lack of a good script had anything to do with it.
"Only You" came after "My Cousin Vinny".
Dodged a bullet there.
"Seinfeld" I also grew up on. I can and just will never tire of it.
Are you sticking to drama? I was going to recommend "Seinfeld". Maybe golden age "Simpsons". That's if you haven't watched any of those.
