I saw it as well. I remember slumping in my seat, because I was so disappointed in the film, but as soon as that happen I perked up.
I'm sure the people sitting behind me took notice of me as well, because they couldn't stop looking at me as I left the theater.

Rewatching the original film on HBO recently, I dug that as well. Especially, the laser sequence which I believe is one of the most cleverly gruesome scenes, I've seen in a mainstream film in the past fifteen years.

One of my many reasons why I hated that fucking movie.
I would rather have sat through Blomkamp's movie.

I've got one for you. Does anyone remember that short-lived Erik Von Detten sitcom, "Odd Man Out"?
It premiered during the 1999 fall season on TGIF. Well, months prior to its debut, ABC, Disney Channel and whatever else was owned by Disney, aired promos of teenage girls running around chanting "EVD". The voiceover

I hardly even noticed.

You're correct…you are only one…jabroni.

I'm not worthy of being a lord.

No shit. Two Halloween episodes of "Home Improvement" stick out in my mind: One where Tim was getting notes by a secret admirer who was stalking him. Only for it to be Jill and I think Al pranking him.

Totally stagnated. I'm mean you can't fucking blast Hozier.
STP you can.

And I got a lot of great sleep out of it.

My classic rock station does the same. I heard "Times Like These" on there recently. Making me feel old at 29. But, you're right, the local rock station and even the classic rock stations are devouring the 90's more that ever and even the early-2000s RHCP, etc. I will say though that I hear the Beatles less on my

You know, for all the shit the "Nu-Metal" era gets and rightfully so, afterwards was worse. My high school years were 2002-2006 and it was all Nickelback, Good Charlotte, AFI, My Chemical Romance, Avenged Sevenfold, etc.

You know, I used to refer to Emily Ratajkowski as the same name.

Oh, I have "Daredevil" in my collection as well.

It seems like DVD sales and HBO airings helped that movie. That does make me feel better.

Starz has been playing it a lot lately and one can hope that it gets rediscovered down the line.
The action set pieces are indeed fantastic, especially the bit with taxi on the train tracks. Jimmy Smits needs to take more villain roles even now.

You know I really liked "The Rundown" and I still do. I always thought that was unfairly ignored.

No, it wasn't tied to Thunder in Paradise, which I believe was over by then.

The only episode that I ever saw, was one that tied-in with "Bash at the Beach '95", where Hulk Hogan, Macho Man, Ric Flair, Vader and Kevin Sullivan guest starred on.

Those blow. I never understood what the big deal was.
