"Along Came a Spider"…I had to look up the box office on that one and saw that it made $74 million domestically (against a $60 million dollar budget). It is a piece of shit, but I was surprised there wasn't a sequel a couple of years later. It seems like Paramount just let the rights expire or maybe the box office had

I know, I know, I know and it's fucking killing me.

I always found the deaths in that movie to be funny. I remember my stepdad thought that Peter Jason was Meat Loaf.

Didn't they establish everything they had to sing about in the first "Mamma Mia"?

I forgot about that little detail.

I missed "The Mummy Returns" in theaters, so I watched it the day it was released on DVD. For months and months, I heard how awful the CGI was for the Scorpion King. When I finally saw it, I couldn't believe what I was seeing.

And that just proves how immense Michelle Williams' talent is.

It's funny to note that "Village of the Damned" came out less than two months after "In the Mouth of Madness".
I mean, yeah the latter flopped as well, but it's gone on to become beloved, while the former is just a pile of shit.

Yes…I have seen "The Jacket" and he steals the show in it. I saw "Layer Cake" around that time and I was amazed how he went from a cool criminal to a sad, lowly shell of a man.

True, but I wasn't paying any attention to Natasha Henstridge's acting in that movie.

Rick Yune was actually better in "Die Another Day", which is saying something.

And Ron Perlman is pretty good in it as well with his short screen time.
But, his death is one of the most unitentionally funny death scenes ever.

I remember when it was released, it did okay opening weekend, but since everything pretty much sucked during Summer 2003, it started building through word-of mouth.
It's like folks realized they were missing out on a good film, and dragged their asses from the "Dumb and Dumberer" line and went to see "The Italian Job"

I need to give it a rewatch.

The thing about Timothy Olyphant is that he's come a long way since "Scream 2". Post-"Scream 2", I always The called him the killer from "Scream 2". Even after "Go", I thought of him as that. Then I saw his other performances, and was happy to see him thrive.

As a Carpenter loyalist, I can't defend "Ghosts of Mars".
But, I will defend Natasha Henstridge. Such a great presence and not-bad acting chops.

I sure as hell, didn't think franchise after I saw it then. I thought maybe another sequel, unless Vin Diesel ups his asking price.

That's a good one. I might use that sometime.
Mousse is a funny word.

It doesn't take much to out-act him.

Orlando Bloom…those wasted years of trying to make him an A-list leading man.
I'm stoked for the new "Pirates", despite his prescence.
