I've noticed down in the comments section, some folks mentioning "Saving Private Ryan". One of my all-time favorites, but it was never going to be picked.

I remember when this was going to be a Tom Hanks-Tim Allen vehicle.

I will agree with you on Dolarhyde being a much more terrifying villain.
But, I wouldn't say he's pure menace. The romance with Reba shows that. I love how Tom Noonan and Joan Allen interact with each other. I just find something so endearing about it.

"It's a history lesson come to life".

Well…you do know that you prefer "The Silence of the Lambs".

It was a Spike production. It was pretty highly rated as well. I think production costs caused it to be cancelled.

It's on DVD or look it up on YouTube. They go to a casino, where someone recognized Reynolds and tells him there are no vampires anymore.

I remember almost every critic raving about James Woods' performance. I believe Roger Ebert and a few other mainstream critics were pushing for an Oscar nomination.

This I didn't know about. I need to see that ending.

Nothing loony about it. Mann's is better than Demme's.

And Michael Mann's Hannibal Lector (or Lecktor) is better than both.

I love the shootout at the beginning. I always crack up at Sean Bean shooting that fat guy to hell.

I still feel Raimi's first "Spider-Man" is the best adaptation of an origin on screen. The first forty minutes or so are exhilarating.

The later part of the 90's lifted Fox. I don't know if it was ever a critical favorite, but "That 70's Show" was popular with everyone I knew. The first time I saw a commercial for that, I thought, "Well, that looks funny, but it won't last long". I was wrong on that one.

One of my favorite scenes in "Bart's Girlfriend", is when he says he was watching FOX last night and refers to "Martin" as the character "Martin".

Yeah, go figure.

It's great to know that I wasn't the only one, who noticed MTV's Spring Break lasting for months on end. It was seemingly never ending.

I remember that period when FOX was the rowdy network. I had a few friends who weren't allowed to watch anything on there. I'd show up at school the next day talking about "The Simpsons" and there would be kids saying they weren't allowed to watch it, because it's on FOX. I was discussing this with some friends the

I'm sorry, I'm not at liberty to discuss those.

Old Spice!!!
I stopped wearing it at 15 and now at 29 it's cool.
