I remember "Cursed"..which was an appropriate title for a show in the 8:30 slot Thursday night on NBC.

I always enjoy Bill Night in everything.
I truly believe that Davy Jones is one of the top five CGI characters in history. When he's introduced in "Dead Man's Chest", I thought he was in make-up. Very impressive work on him. I love how menacing his performance was. He brought so much soul to that character.
I've written below that I wish McTiernan would get another shot. Talk about a streak: "Predator" followed by "Die Hard" followed by "The Hunt for Red October".
Anyone ever see "No Contest"? It's essentially a straight-to-video "Die Hard at the Miss America pageant"starring Andrew Dice Clay as the terrorist leader, Rowdy Roddy Piper as his henchman and Robert Davi.
Originally, Robert Davi was supposed to play Richter but turned it down.
I had to look up the old lady briefcase scene on YouTube. I'm dying with laughter.
"Crusade"…Carolco's issues and a bloated budget killed that project dead.
It's shame about McTiernan. It just pisses me off that he won't get another mainstream film.
Excluding the prison sentence, I blame that damn "Rollerball" remake, which I was looking forward to, solely because of McTiernan's involvement.
Nothing in "Red October" would've warranted an R-rating anyways.
I recorded it a couple days ago on FXX. I only own up to season 11 of The Simpsons.
I mentioned some articles back, that rewatching "Patriot Games" made me like and appreciate it more.
Fox was impressed with the "Ford Fairlane" dailies, that they just gave Harlin the job.
I know they were panicking when McTiernan split to do "Red October".
"Run Lola Run"…is one I need to see. My only knowledge of it was "Trilogy of Error" on The Simpsons.
I saw the book at a used book store some time ago. I should probably pick it up.
Thank you! That's very kind of you.
Fred Thompson was always enjoyable in everything. Not the most range in his acting ability, but just before the plane crashes, and hears the pilots talking to the terrorists, he just hangs his head low.
Goldsmith also scored "Gremlins 2", which is another great score. "Gremlins 2" was released mere weeks after "Total Recall", so I can say he hit back-to-back homers with these soundtracks.
I mentioned this in a previous article, but I hope "Patriot Games" gets mentioned for '92.
I never saw "A Scanner Darkly". My uncle saw it in theaters when it came out, and he raved about it to me. He especially praised Robert Downey Jr.. It seems like it gets forgotten about, when talking about Downey's comeback.
Along with missing the phone calls to join Metallica and The Rolling Stones.
