The only time I would ever watch "Nash Bridges" was when Stone Cold Steve Austin would guest star. I remember Austin's character having the hots for Yasmine Bleeth.

Don't just limit it to the A.V Club, why would anyplace employ someone like that?

I think the best use of "Sail Away" was on "South Park" with Cartman singing it.

I'll add Audioslave's "Shadow on the Sun", used to great effect in "Collateral".

I recall the Philip Steir remix of "Magic Carpet Ride" being everywhere in the late 90s/ early 2000s. From film to car commercials to EA's 2001 edition of "Triple Play".

"Little Darlin'" by the Diamonds will be forever associated with Rogers and Clarke in "Ishtar".

"Problem Child" was the first place I heard "Real Wild Child" by Iggy Pop.

-"Take Me Home" by Phil Collins playing over the end credits of "Saturday Night's Main Event" with Hulk Hogan in his prime celebrating with the fans.

Sherilyn Fenn…damn right.

I don't know if I can call his version upbeat, but Sam Cooke's rendition of "Blue Moon" in "An American Werewolf in London".

-Sheena Easton's "Morning Train" will be forever linked to Cosmo Kramer, taking the subway in a montage to job he has no training for, working at company he doesn't really work for and partying with co-workers who aren't really his co-workers.

Great minds think alike. You know who was a great referee: Tim White. Even with those "Lunchtime Suicide" bullshit web videos, his legacy in the business is still intact. A career cut short unfortunately. Do you remember those videos? This is when the company was trying out original content for WWE.com.

A good ref should indeed be invisible. I think that's why Earl Hebner got on my nerves, as after Montreal he became more visible. I know he was part of the "Evil Referee- How Much Did He Pay for the Plastic Surgery?" storyline, but after Montreal he became distracting.

You're welcome and I popped as well, when I watched it live.

Hence, why SmackDown should've gotten the Cruiserweight division. The camera angles, the graphics, that lounge is already making SmackDown feel different, but I wanted the "Fist" set entrance to comeback. I don't know if it's been mentioned, but in the opening video there is a flying fist as a homage.
A nice little

I totally believe that Joe, Aries, and Nakamura will be going to SmackDown!. I'll add Bobby Roode to that list as well, but stranger things have happened.

Hahaha..there you go.

I've talked about this with friends, but I think somewhere down the line I can see WWE reviving that "Open Season" angle they did a few months after the first draft in 2002.

WrestleMania 24- the SmackDown! title main evented the show, with the Undertaker defeating Edge. Also, featuring the famous Charles Robinson run.
