How about a real life example (for a long period of time) Scott Hall. Not only was he drunk in real life, but it was played in an angle on television.

Many hours wasted on that game…when I was nine. The appropriate age to be a Star Wars fan.
Francesa is a blowhard, but I liked his takedown of the premiere episode of "Joe Buck Live".
When they brought in Linus Roache and Anthony Anderson, I think the show bounced back big time. Lupo and Bernard were an interesting tandem, and Roache's Cutter, was such an awesome character. I loved the arc with Tom Everett Scott as the Governor of New York and how much of a scumbag he was.
Yeah, with the Nine Inch Nails remixes in the background. It was a remix of "Closer to God", with the lyric "I wanna fuck you" playing over and over again. They even played it when they would show Wesley Snipes' son.
What the hell was up with Benicio Del Toro and his look in that movie? My sister dated some Eurotrash a couple years ago and he reminded me of him.
That scene where he barges into his ex-wife's house, is just hilarious. The way De Niro keeps saying "It's open" is gold.
I've already struck against someone else who called it lousy.
Let us form the Pro-Last Boy Scout militia.
All right, "The Last Boy Scout" is not a bad movie. If you are going to make negative comments about it, take your opinions somewhere else.
That bastard!!! I was there that night also.
Why is it forgotten that Mr. Darnell (his character in ""Christine) was a vulgar, hilarious scumbag? This role and "Thief" predate the kindly characters he would play later in his career.
I have to say I love this new feature on AVClub. I hate that I am gonna be one of those people asking why this show wasn't covered? Or that show? I would like shows that were good in their first seasons to be considered.
I always liked him too, even though when I was little, he reminded me of the Cryptkeeper.
Steve Martin played Vinnie because the original actor dropped out.
I think "For Love or Money" is his worst, but I loved looking at Gabrielle Anwar though.
My mom loves "The Wraith", she also hates "Heat" (1995).
WE WANT RABIN!!! WE WANT RABIN!!!!
I am surprised that the "Freaks and Geeks" fanboys/girls haven't pointed out, that Western Union man was played by Joe Flaherty.
Michael Wincott is pretty good as usual.
It's upsetting that Peter Jackson has chosen to go that route.
