There's a great quote from Aaron Sorkin to the effect that 'nothing has
made us dumber or meaner than the anonymity of the internet.' Normally I never read comments but as I said somewhere, the guy who wrote this piece really understands Dateline, our strengths and weaknesses.

Thanks. We do try to draw out the suspense, although of course we don't say anything that isn't actually true. If we say police had a new suspect or doubted someone's story, they did.
