its part of why her art isn't particularly compelling to me, as this story of 'young educated affluent whites finding themselves after college' is is one of the very few afforded the young.

personally i've found it hard to discuss class politics in terms of pop culture on the internet due to the people I typically discuss it with inhabiting the class i'm being critical of, and thus getting defensive at anything i bring up.
