Most celebrities have already sold out before the public is even aware of it. This is especially true for music artists when the so-called fans say that they've "sold out," usually after hearing their second albums. It's like, bitch, they already signed those contracts before your pathetic ears even heard that music

Haha, same. It's the same reason I stopped reading the Adventure Time episode reviews a long time ago. I'm just glad he's leaving his hands off of my other favorite show, Fargo.

Dude! I was literally just thinking the same exact thing! But it really couldn't be a more appropriate comparison. He's even worse with his Adventure Time reviews.

Oliver Sava once again reminds me why he is the most socially reductive and over-analyzing reviewer on this goddamn site. This show's messages are far to diverse to be suited for his simplistic and one-sided "all white men in power are evil" take. I swear, this guy is like a walking, talking embodiment of everything

I feel the same way about him. He's got this charm and charisma that really appeals to me, and I generally respect the way he articulates his opinions, but in reality I hardly ever see eye-to-eye with him on albums.

Well I really like Insomnia and The first two Dark Knight films.

Or maybe, just MAYBE… the fox was just an asshole.

Yeah, pretty much. I like the ongoing world and character building when it's mostly in the background, but as of late Adventure Time is either completely random or completely serious. I'd like some balance between the two. Also, they need to shift the formula up a bit. The whole "dramatic season premiere —-> random

"This could be seen as a metaphor for how Ice King can never make any forward progress in his life and always ends up in the same sad place, but it’s far more likely that it’s just Finn and Jake messing with Ice King because they want to ruin his plan."

Why is it that every time a show includes more of a good thing it's always considered pondering to the fanbase?

I'm beginning to think the commenters are the only ones who actually know what makes a good episode around here.

"In retrospect, the dashed-off nature of this episode, particularly in a season that’s felt relatively strong, can be tied to the conclusion."

Oh my god, this episode was absolutely hilarious for me! I was so happy when Satan showed up. It's been like what, 8 years since we last saw him? More Satan is always good, I missed him. Only South Park can make the biggest voice of reason literally the devil. And that alcohol commercial? I almost spit out my drink!

Oh my god. You sir have made possibly the best comment on this site I've ever seen. So true. You're proof that the commenters are smarter than the actual reviewers.

Craig, Clyde, same thing.

Why is AV Club always so tough on South Park? Christ, they mentioned the celebrity nudes in an off comment like once, it wasn't even what you could consider the focus of the episode. I thought it was a funny episode, and it surely deserves at least one higher grade point than handicar. You know, cause I actually

Really? You don't like season 5? I always thought (at least to me) season 5 was where South Park truly became a fantastic show. It's the first one I watched through and through.

Although I didn't like this one as much as the previous episodes. especially last week's, I'd definitely agree with you on that. All I know, this has been the most interesting South Park has been in years. I guess I should have known this week's episode would have been disappointing compared to last week's brilliance.

I like your critical analysis dude, not because I always agree with them, but because they make much more sense in terms of actually reviewing episodes. Oliver's are too metaphorical and one-sided for my tastes. Like he always focuses too much on one aspect. It's not that I necessarily think he's wrong, because I

I love Breakfast Princess. Any Adventure Time character featuring bacon is a winner in my book. This was a funny and charming episode, and the Marceline and LSP pairing was something really cool that we've never seen in the show before. Also, Oliver Sava once again included the word 'adorable' in one of his reviews.
