Does this study look at salary per comparable career or is it simply looking at avg wage of all men vs avg wage of all men? One of those will have a drastically different (and statistically irrelevant) gap than the other. Last decent study I saw which compared among similar career, education level, experience, etc.…
Investigative journalists who actually source and check the facts behind a story before publishing are heroes. Sadly, with our 24 hr news cycle and race to be the first to publish breaking news, it seems the great investigative journalists are going the way of the dodo.
