I feel like Elementary is one of those shows that does not benefit from binge viewing. I find myself enjoying the show as I'm watching one episode per week, but I'm never inclined to revisit the show later and the thought of watching multiple episodes in one sitting has me feeling bored. Well there's probably a whole host of great classic writers who would do a great job, Simpsons episodes tend to be 'written' by a whole host of writers, so their could be a whole team around it.
