I liked this season a lot, but I wonder if bringing in a lot of different (some first-time) directors contributed to it having slightly less stylistic consistency?

I can't imagine how terrible that must feel. Thank you for sharing your journey.
Because it's a tv show, you may have convinced yourself that the plot is important.
Maybe just the hardest to watch. She means well, but is so damaged that she can't see Taylor's needs (and his degree of trying to protect her/himself).
I feel really sorry for her, but yes: she is a big part of Taylor's problems. So much of his behavior is based on protecting her. It doesn't seem like she's well served by her therapist!
It sure seems like this season's going to have to go from purple wedding fireworks to a whole lot of stalling unless they're going to get into Feast/Dance pretty soon. As it stands, they've already preserved the Hound's life by a few episodes out of fan service, stalled Stannis, and created a random new mutiny errand…
I hope "the talk" is framed in terms of "where do kittens come from".
That has been the most confusing part. At the end of Season 3 both Stannis and Melisandre were all about heading North. A few days later in Season 4 and it's all burning heretics all the time.
I like how Katy Perry made no attempt to even pretend to be singing during most that insane military offensive.
I like Adam Brock only slightly less than I like this faux cliffhanger ending.
I was imagining that one room would make it through, not that only one room would be cut. This will go on until the rest spread norovirus to Vegas?
