Baby A7? Fuck it, I dig my A7, so this is okay. That said, I see no reason to buy this over an A7 except for maybe price.

Haha nice.

There are so many better ways to move a whole bunch of people, but most of them have an AMG badge.

Eh, I’ve spent a bunch of time in one of these as my business partner used to have an ATS 2.0T. I think you’d be shocked at how well it actually functions. I daily drive a ‘16 Audi A7 and I can’t say that the Audi system is any better although it appears to be regarded as much better by the automotive press.

No income tax in Texas. Assuming he takes residence there and assuming that he earns 50% of that income in Texas (will be higher from guaranteed $, bonuses, etc) and not in other states which impose a tax on him, that’s an immedate minimum $1.66m raise over playing in Colorado over the life of the contract, not

I am usually not that guy because fuck it, buy what you want, but $27k for a Civic seems steep. I bought a ‘15 STi when they came out for $33.5k or so. I got rid of that already because it kind of sucked, but regardless, it’s an infinitely more capable car for not very many more dollars.

I dropped out of college and made way more money than I ever could have if I stayed in college and kept acquiring debt. Reinvesting that money and time into purchasing multi-family real estate allowed me to take larger risks by reducing my cost of living which subsequently allowed me to start a business which has

Their mileage claims are actually underestimated in my opinion on the TDI - my wife has a ‘13 Golf TDI and that thing exceeds 42mpg with regularity.

There has to be some marketing effort that shows that the boring ass middle aged moms that these vehicles are targeted at think that the word turbo will mean that it is scary or unsafe while eco means that it is safe and efficient.

Owned an ‘89 e30 325i and a ‘95 e36 318ti. NEVER AGAIN.

This is one of the rare ones where I’d want the paddles. If we’re going that far down the road of weight redux, I want the best lap times. If I want to have an enjoyable Evora to scoot around town in, I’ll grab an Evora S with a proper manual transmission. That’s my two cents.

Volkswagen has got to shit or get off the pot soon. I don’t really care about the emissions, but my wife has a TDI that got tanked pretty good in value. I’d prefer them to buy it back ASAP so I can buy her something that pollutes way more like a G550. I wish this was a joke.

Saw the new C63 AMG @ the Toronto Auto Show last weekend and it was a nice looking car, but I’m not dropping my pants for it. I rarely am the sort that is a “older generation is better!” person in terms of cars, but the big ol’ naturally aspirated V8 model of the last gen C63 will always be preferred by myself because

My snowblower makes about 20 ft lbs of torque. Do you think my snowblower could outrun this Chevette?

I thought one of the car magazines did that with a C7 in their long term test and the conclusion was “not bad”. Maybe I'm wrong.

Viper motor. Add a blower to give some umph down low.

No clue. I have an Audi A7 and my wife’s Golf TDI, both on snows for winter. I don't fuck around with the C7 in snow.

Had to get home to put the snows on.

For sure. A stick, LSD, RWD + Blizzaks in almost any car is more than enough. Start in 2nd gear (unless you’re in the Miata) to limit torque and you’re good haha.

As long as it’s got the LSD in there, that thing is incredible. The open differential ones suck a lot more. Once I put Blizzaks on the e30, it was nearly as good in the snow as my old WRX w/ Blizzaks. The other STi I had was still better and my current Audi A7 is about equal if I leave it on all-seasons. That said,
