I like a lot of broadcast comedies, but broadcast dramas, yeesh. Cable is miles ahead. The only quality broadcast dramas I can think of within the last season are American Crime (Cancelled), Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, HTGAWM, Izombie, and This Is Us. And CEG/ Izombie lean hard on comedy elements.

I'd put Taboo as a weak link too.

Season 7 has to be the last season, doesn't it? It feels like setting up Selina to run again is setting up a final season. I think it would be best for it to end after season 7. I watched the first episode of this cause Showtime put it on VOD early, and thought "Okay some of this is interesting, but I can't help feeling like this reminds of Vinyl, I hope it doesn't do what Vinyl did"
