The content creators also suffer since the ad isn’t viewed and their monetized videos won’t earn anything.

I guess I don’t get the histeria around this one. So many people threatening to never go back to YouTube like that matters at all to Google. They are only losing money by continuing to serve people that block the ads. YouTube is astronomically expensive to run, where else are they going to get the revenue to justify…
