What exactly in these quotes is sexist?  I’m being serious here.  The only thing that really made me think twice was the last quote, but it is in fact possible that Ferrari’s marketing research shows that women are more likely to prefer a certain kind of car.  That isn’t any more sexist than saying “18-35 year olds

I think the most annoying thing about identity politics is if 80+% of a demographic shares the same desires or expectations, we’re not allowed to attribute those to the demographic because “NOT ALL WOMEN!” said .03% of women.

1. If you think restaurant regulars won’t notice a $1 increase, you clearly haven’t worked in a restaurant. And if you think a mom and pop Greek restaurant is serving 40,000 entrees per year, you’re delusional. The solution isn’t nearly as easy as you want it to be.

2011-2014 Cadillac CTS Coupe. The door pull also works as an Oh S**t handle. It slopes down to an armrest that is at a perfect height. The push button to open the door falls very naturally to hand when you want to leave. (Also shown: The often overlooked manual door release. You can see the red markings jus ahead of

Every screen I’ve ever encountered work just fine with my polarized sunglasses.

Corollary to the $1billion Colombus fact - if you put your $5k a day into a 6% investment, it would only take ~60 years to hit a billion. Yes that’s still way more than is realistic for any person, but you can see how actual billionaires got there - especially when they happened to have investments returning a lot

Man I don’t get all the hate for the CT5 unless you’re upset about the engine. I’ve seen a few on the road now, all of which have been black with the graphite wheel package, and they are sexy as hell. Certainly more interesting to look at than the cars it competes with.

Uh, have you actually sat inside a Caddy interior?  They use real chrome, real leather, real wood, real carbon fiber, alcantara...etc....

Instead of addressing the brightness of DRLs-only, they just need to get rid of backlit gauge clusters when the headlights are off. If you get in your car at night and can’t see your gauges, it’s obvious your lights aren’t on. Don’t know why/when we decided that gauges needed to be lit all the time.

They increase contrast. In older lamps there was a gradient falloff that allowed time for the eye to adapt or the driver to look away before the full intensity region was reached. Now it’s 0 to 100% with zero warning.

I own 5cars ranging in age from 1967 to 2011. I find all of them to have acceptable headlights from sealed beams through the HID lights on my Cadillac that turn with the steering wheel, a neat feature. What I don’t like about HID is that the light is so collimated that it lights extremely well those things it shines

Can the IIHS tackle DRL LEDs that are so bright the driver thinks their headlights are on even when they’re not? I run into this all the time now, because dashboards are always lit, even with the headlights off, and DRLs are so bright the owners think their lights are on. I’ve been stuck behind someone without their

Can I also request a fucking chime for when someone’s had their damn high beams on for more than just a minute? Perhaps in combination with an ambient light sensor so people stop driving at me in the city with their GD beams blasting? Perhaps we also reduce the light output of DRLs so that dummies stop driving on the

How about we start with local law enforcement eradicating illegal HID drop ins, illegal headlight height, and illegal light bars?

Yeah, my GC HID’s suck. I jump in my SS, and the HID’s for the low beams are much better, but it has different bulbs for the high and those are money (see below,). They light up the world. I which the Jeeps lights were better, especially since I live on the edge of the city and drive through country roads a good bit.

Volkswagen and going around the EPA. Name a more iconic duo.

I am seriously starting to believe that GM makes the Chevy pickups/SUV’S hideous so they can move more GMC’S. I’ll just take a Yukon, thanks.

Honestly it blows my mind that Australian manufacturers lasted as long as they did. There are fewer than 25 million people in Australia, and the industry peaked near 500,000 units/year in the 1970s.  For the whole industry.  Given the number of models largely or fully specific to their home market, that’s just crazy.

“Holden has stated that SUVs and utes make up 76 percent of their sales”

Sad news, this isnt a McLaren. This is a Gordon Murray car.
