I wish that wasn't something that needed to be said.

Look if you went back 20 years ago and told anyone they would have to support a piece of software for ten years they would have laughed directly into your face. To Microsoft's credit Windows 7 was really good! And if you are running a machine not connected to the internet then who cares! But if you are on the internet

Volkswagen and going around the EPA. Name a more iconic duo.

I am seriously starting to believe that GM makes the Chevy pickups/SUV’S hideous so they can move more GMC’S. I’ll just take a Yukon, thanks.

Honestly it blows my mind that Australian manufacturers lasted as long as they did. There are fewer than 25 million people in Australia, and the industry peaked near 500,000 units/year in the 1970s.  For the whole industry.  Given the number of models largely or fully specific to their home market, that’s just crazy.

“Holden has stated that SUVs and utes make up 76 percent of their sales”

Sad news, this isnt a McLaren. This is a Gordon Murray car.

“runs out at what we call Ferrari revs, so around 9500 rpm.”

You do realize that if a system has 1000 false positives what you’re really doing is training the driver to IGNORE the system, that means when that 1 true positive occurs the driver will have gotten so used to overriding the system when it triggers that it causes an accident.

Can we all agree that the pretzel shaped cookies are the best? And the ones without the sugar crystals are the worst?  I would use those sugarless ones for the cookie butter

what “crap” are you referring to, exactly?

We’re talking about 60's and 70's american cars here. not race cars. not euro cars. but seriously, dig through the Michelin, Goodyear, Pirelli, and Conti tire catalogs. If you want a street tire that has a modern UUHP compound it means moving up at least 2 rim diameters from stock, probably three. If you don’t want to

That’s pretty fucking ironic coming from a country that specializes in stealing technology.

I think the Lexus IS handles this pretty well. The seam is kind of an extension of the taillight.

Interesting how you equate conservative beliefs with being self-centered. Maybe, just maybe, the saying “with age comes wisdom” has some validity to it that is greatly discounted by the youths because they haven’t been there, done that.

I would agree you can rightfully be upset about the effects of a massive population boom on subsequent generations, yet, it’s not as if we Boomers aren’t also personally very well aware of our generation’s effects too.

Again, if you read what I wrote, I wasn’t defending anyone.

Well, first, if you actually read what I wrote, I’m a xennial. Or a millennial. Or whatever one is called who was born in 1982.

It absolutely was. You should research the movement.

But planting only a hundred trees around a factory sounds less like a green initiative and more like putting an environmental spin on some landscaping plans.
