Yeah, as an engineer in the chemical manufacturing industry for the last 15 years, I can’t imagine a single manufacturer ever allowing outside guests or tours of their facilities. There are just too many ways for people to get hurt, and too much liability and too many consequences if someone does.

This topic drives me crazy. The entire point of STEM is to provide a title for technical and scientific areas of training.
