I was selling cars in early 2007. Gas prices were starting to spike and signs that the economy was slowing down were starting to show. A contractor (boss) came in to get out of his F-150 because it was costing him too much in gas per month. He bought a new Focus to reduce his monthly gas bill. His total payment on gas

Yeah, but that was done by a dumb domestic car company, so like, it doesn’t count ya know.........

Yes, plenty of stories of disgruntled cyclists seeking revenge for some real or imagined sleight.

I had a cyclist spit on me when I was test driving a SAAB convertible once. I was sat at lights and he just came up on my right, leaned in and spat straight in my face, then he took off straight through the lights. It was disgusting. That was when I was in London England too so he was right in my face. So much for

I think that ostriches are the most terrifying animals on earth. Basically velociraptors.

By offsetting the true cost of having a kid it directly or indirectly enables people to have more though.

The window shade thing might make a difference on the ground (where A/C is being provided by some external system) but once you are airborne the outside air quickly cools (something like 5 degrees c for every 1000m above the ground you travel). Once you get to cruising altitude there is no energy savings from having

Alternate headline for The Root:

Plus, which new car doesn’t have issues in the first year?

Sorry but this is a horseshit opinion. Coke Zero tastes a lot different from Diet Coke, it’s sweeter and has that spicy, slightly citrusy flavor to it like Coca-Cola whereas Diet Coke does not. (The “base formula” of Coke Zero is the original Coke formula whereas the base formula of Diet Coke was and is the New Coke

Patrick better make that outfit mandatory for any staff going to Europe to review cars.

Pretty typical. It’s probably because the switchgear for the exhaust and magneride is only present with the 301A or 400A packages.

Maybe. The Camaro is 4 second 0-60, the Mustang is “sub 4" but only using a special drive mode so I take that with a grain of salt.

Well, now we’re talking!

Still think the Camaro SS 1LE is the best bang for your buck in this pony car war but Ford definitely is getting closer.

But it’s so tough to give up on the soundtrack of the V-8. I guess I’m old school. I’d definitely go for a GT regardless of the numbers an EcoBoost can achieve for less money.

Looks like the real thing to me, the wheels are inboard by a bit.

Lol 460hp for $35k. That power used to cost $200k

The Camaro does not have a fully digital dash. My 2014 Jeep has a big configurable screen in the middle of the gauges like the Camaro, so has the Mustang for a few years, no big deal. Not the same as the 12" screen that is the ‘18 Mustang gauge cluster.

That passing on the right is apparently illegal.
