For comparison: The 6.2L LT1 is smaller in height, width and length than the 4.4L BMW V8. It is also wieghs 40 pounds less. Meanwhile it makes 65HP more than the German AND gets better fuel economy.

Better question: why doesn't anyone else?
Simple answer(s): Lighter weight & less complexity than OHC/DOHC engine, smaller overall engine package size, easier to manufacture on existing lines, good low-end torque, fewer parts then 'exotic' motor, pushrod design simplifies cylinder deactivation technologies, etc.
An DOHC V8 is much much larger, especially width wise. You couldn't fit it in a car the size of a corvette, especially if you wanted to keep it behind the front axle like the corvette has.
It is light and compact and reliable as all get out. It is a good design and they have been using the ol SBC for over 50 years now and it is a great engine that they have put a lot of time and work into. No need to change to anything else.
It packages well, doesn't weigh much, cost effective, and is a proven design.
Because it works.
It works REALLY well.
You know Chris Thompson from the best takedown of the 'Speed Kills' myth you've ever seen. A British Columbia news…
I love the column shifter. frees up space in the center console for more stuff.

Full-auto weapons are tightly restricted and quite rare, the ones that are available are stupidly expensive (10k and up is pretty normal) and getting one requires an in-depth background check from the ATF. Same with explosives.
It's a typical case of politicians trying to use tragedies for their own gain. As per usual they have none of the facts:
Ha. More like Microsoft tried to massively curtail consumer rights while giving vague promises of cloud-based processing and limited sharing of games.\
This has been said in every discussion about XBO's DRM. But.... the reasons you listed are all things a lot of people don't like about PC gaming, which is why they picked consoles... That's why people are mad... I could personally care less, but your logic is flawed.
Ford Flex.
That reasoning is fine until someone changes the definition of "doing something wrong".
I used a Scosche with a ground loop isolator in my last car for about 2 years - it worked beautifully. I'm surprised how rarely they're mentioned it articles like this given their cost (~$30), ease of installation (<1 hour) and solid performance. The one wired modulator I owned outperformed all 5 or 6 wireless ones I…
